REBECCA WYN KELLY
This work uses raw sheep fleece from a flock native to Aberath. Wool was once a profitable and celebrated material, now it's in such decline, that sheering is no longer a viable or reliable source of income. It has become a redundant resource and a dying tradition. This avalanche of rancid wool is a response to the threat that rural communities face trying to survive and adapt in a global and capitalist arena.
